new slate – January 2, 2017

Well, 2017 started with a short clean out of an old cooler bag. Remnants of things from the past, and things from the past just hanging around taking up space. The bag was salvaged for my lunches at work, and about half of it’s contents found their way to the trash. The rest….cameras and binoculars are now being displayed…for all to wonder what wonders they have seen in their lifetimes.

I’ll get to some writing later today, new works and old that need to be looked at again to see if I can breathe some life into an old idea. Kind of verbal CPR I suppose.

It’s back to work tomorrow and more adventures in the surreal world. I can’t call it the real world…I’ve never been there.

For now….I hope that all of you had a good beginning to 2017, minimal hangover pain, and that all of your good memories of the past year outweigh the bad. That is….until the credit card bills come in for the Christmas shopping.
