Spring is here, thank all the gods there ever were. And one of the best things about spring is that it is the perfect time to drink whiskey sours.

Warm days and cold nights are hallmarks of the season and a whiskey sour is the ideal cocktail for these mild and cool times. Bourbon is a winter drink and the sour adds the light and sweet touch of spring. And even more awesomely, it is super easy to make!

Whiskey Sour

2 ounces bourbon (or rye whiskey, or Canadian whiskey, or Irish whiskey or…)
2/3 ounce lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar

Shake all the ingredients up with some ice and serve in an old fashioned glass. Drink!
